Bergen Industries made the decision long ago to build all their products with quality first and foremost in mind. We often hear, “I can buy that trailer cheaper down the road”. Our competitors certainly know what their trailers are worth. If you want cheap, buy cheap. Bergen bumper hitch flat decks are built to be the best, plain and simple! We are not prepared to cut corners to build a cheap trailer. All trailers are constructed with rectangular steel tubing on the main frame and square or rectangular tubing for cross members. No channel or angle iron here! Torsion axles are used to provide a smooth ride, with no shackle bars, shackle bolts or equalizer bolts or bushings to worry about. All wiring is run inside the frame. Wiring to your brakes is protected with woven loom and with the small amount of movement on a torsion axle you need less wire outside the frame than you do with a spring axle and equalizer. Instead of lying on your back on a gravel road, trying to repair broken wires, you should be making miles! The deck is 2” x 8” treated spruce which will provide years of trouble free hauling. You have the choice on the loading ramps. If you want slide in ramps, you get slide in ramps. If you prefer less work, take the flip up ramps with the auto lock in the upright position. They can still be easily removed if your hauling loads and don’t want to use the ramps. All trailers are equipped with stake pockets and rub rails. All but the economy car hauler come standard with full length running boards and front stone guard. All trailers are blasted with steel grit prior to priming and painting. To finish off a quality trailer, Endura primer and paint is used. Bergen builds a complete line of bumper hitch flat decks. Any length and any axle combination for whatever you, the customer have in mind.
Golf Cart
Bergen golf cart trailers are designed for years of trouble free towing. The steel mesh floor protects your cart from rock chips while keeping the trailer strong and light weight. Each trailer is steel grit blasted prior to priming and painting. All wiring is concealed in the main frame to protect it from rock damage. Dimensions are 50” wide x 96”long. The back end has a dovetail and 36” long end gate which serves as your ramp. The trailer sits low to the ground, providing a very slight angle to your ramps. Even the most inexperienced driver will load their cart with confidence. A 2000 lb torsion axle is standard equipment and makes the trailer tow so smoothly, you may just forget your pulling a trailer!
Snowmobile Trailers
Bergen offers a full range of snowmobile trailers for whatever sled combination you may have. All trailers are drive on/drive off designs with a ramp which stores under the rear of the trailer. Standard 2 place trailers measure 8’6” x 10’ and feature 2000 lb torsion axles and 13” tires. These can be upgraded to 3500 lb axles with 15” tires and brakes. The standard floor on these trailers is steel with ¾” plywood as an optional feature. 3 place trailers measure 8’6” x 14’ and come with 3500 lb axles and 15” tires as standard equipment. The 4 place trailer measures 8’6” x 22’ and comes in axle combinations of tandem 2000 lb. or tandem 3500 lb. torsion axles. Once again, 15” tires are standard. One option which people really appreciate is the fact that they can custom order their trailer and get it painted to match their sleds. Finish it off with a checker plate chrome stone guard and you have a real eye catcher!
Sport Utility
This trailer is designed for the person that wants a trailer that will last as long as he needs it, regardless of what he does to it. It comes standard with a 3500 lb torsion axle and 205/75R15 radial tires. The floor is 2” x 8” treated spruce, so you don’t have to worry about wearing it out. A 12” high steel railing allows for securing your load. All wiring is inside the tubular frame to protect it from gravel, snow, slush and salt or whatever prairie conditions you may encounter. Whether you carry the garden tractor, the golf cart or the quads this is the trailer which will get the job done! Sport Utility trailers are available in sizes from 5’ x 8’ up to 6’ x 14’.
