	And rightly so, with 10 3/4 inch diameter tubing and a 10 gauge wall thickness, they're built to last. The 10" x 7 gauge heavy flighting is capable of moving 120 bushels per minute.
If mass capacity is a priority...Bergen Industries manufactures the World's largest production grain auger. Meet our 16" Diameter Direct Drive Swing Auger. The 3/16" thick wall and 1/4" gauge flighting mean serious business...and higher efficiencies...efficiencies as high as 300 bushels per minute. Either Bergen's 10 3/4" diameter or 16" diameter auger can mean one less truck and driver in your busiest season.
	The bottom end constant velocity PTO drive has been proven to be the most efficient drive which translates into lower fuel consumption. All drivelines are fully guarded to ensure maximum operator safety.
The hydraulic drive on the swing auger guarantees years of trouble free service.
	The Bergen Direct Drive Swing Augers have an external drive system. This system drives both augers from the bottom end for superior consistency. The external drive allows the components to run in fresh air which lengthens lifespan for these parts, rather than an internal drive which forces the parts to mix with grain or fertilizer dust. Close attention is paid to flighting and tube alignment so you are assured of quiet operation.
The Bergen undercarriage, the strongest in the industry, is manufactured with heavy wall tubing...you'll notice it's clamped to the tube rather than welded to reduce metal fatigue, so common on other augers. You also get all the reach you need with our unique undercarriage system.
	For those in the seed growing or cleaning industry, Bergen offers a reversing attachment, with large cleanouts, so you no longer have to worry about contaminated seed. Bergen is currently prototyping a revolutionary reversing attachment which we hope will be available for 1999. User friendly easy access clean outs are standard on all Bergen augers.
