PETER BERGEN INDUSTRIES INC. is a family owned business, which was started in 1949. Bergen manufactures agricultural equipment as well as livestock and utility trailers. Our head office and manufacturing plant is located in Drake Saskatchewan. A staff of approximately 30 people produces short-line farm equipment and trailers in our modern 33,000 square foot manufacturing plant. The short-line equipment line up includes the following: Harrow drawbars, 10 3/4" and 16" diameter Grain Augers both in standard and swing away models, Rock Diggers, Swather, Header, and Drill transports. Stock, Horse and Flatdeck Trailers are also manufactured at our plant. These trailers come in both gooseneck and bumper hitch models. Between 95 - 98% of our products are manufactured using Canadian materials. All products are marketed and sold under our trade name, "BERGEN".

BERGEN INDUSTRIES has always been known for the heavy-duty construction, which is evident in all their products. Bergen´s R&D department have worked hard at defining the cutting edge for the products they are involved with. Bergen is the original designer of the worlds largest 16" diameter grain auger and the heavy tine harrow bar with "self-levelling" capabilities. Our innovative ideas have been imitated, but the quality is never duplicated.

CURRENT GEOGRAPHIC MARKETINGACTIVITY
The products that Bergen Industries produces are marketed mainly through a network of Western Canadian Dealers as well as some Dealers in the North West part of the United States. Sales have also been made to Germany, Australia, and Costa Rica.

GEOGRAPHIC MARKETING PRIORITIES / STRATEGY
Bergen´s Canadian sales basecurrently holds a strong position. Bergen is actively seeking exclusiverepresentatives for specific areas of the USA, Australia, France and Central America. These markets are being given a priority, but we are also open to other markets.
